Week One of 21 Day Fix

Fitness GoalsSo…if you have been following my blog you know that I purchased the 21 Day Fix program from Beach Body some time ago. I was super excited to start the program when I first got it but by day 3 I had given up. I lost my motivation and I let life get in the way. I tried to complete the program on a few different occasions since but ended up giving up yet again. Well I am happy to report that I started the program again last week and I stuck to it. I had made myself a promise not to check my weight until after the program but I had worked out so hard and stuck to the eating plan so well….that I had to see where I was. Well…..to my surprise I had AMAZING results. I still have two more weeks to go but in Week one I lost 4 lbs and 6 inches. This was just the motivation that I needed to keep pushing forward. I am super excited to see my results at the end of the 21 days.

During the entire week my secret motivation was thinking of what it’s going to feel like when I’m finally pregnant. Feeling a little life growing inside of me. If I ever felt like giving up I just rubbed my belly and thought….I need to keep pushing. In one of the healthy eating support groups that I’m in, another woman shared with me that her and her husband are having issues getting pregnant with their second child. To keep her goals fresh in her mind, she printed out ads for baby products and images of what she wants her baby’s room to look like and keeps them on her wall next to her bed. Those images are the first thing she see’s when she wakes up and one of the last things she looks at before she goes to bed. I really want to do this so that I can remember what my end goal really is. I want to be a mom and I will do anything and everything to get to my goal!
